Hope Drive FOR the Valley

each Hope Drive looks different and is tailored to what speaks to your heart

Champion a
Community or Business
Hope Drive

Wherever you live or work in the Valley, we will come alongside you in support!

Community Hope Drives are a 1-2 weekend event, in which you setup a pop-up tent and donation boxes (that we provide to you) for a collection site. Rally your church group, book club, sports team, etc. to volunteer together, and promote the event in your community 2-4 weeks before the event takes place. We will create flyers tailored to your event that you can print, share on social media, text out, or post in a community newsletter. Once donations are collected, someone will want to store those in their home or garage, and we will schedule a pickup day/time to gather those from you to take directly to the warehouse where they will be sorted and given directly to people in need.

Business Hope Drives can be as long as you'd like! Rally your team to bring donations, and get clients/customers to join in. We will provide boxes for a collection site(s), and will schedule a pickup day/time of your donations that will be taken directly to the warehouse for sorting and distribution to those in need. Most businesses make their Hope Drive a month long, some do a week or two, others even longer (3 months has been our max!). It truly depends on your business and capacity.

Examples:

  • A salon has less traffic, and their clients are scheduled every 6-8 weeks on average. So it works well for a salon to host their Hope Drive over the course of 2-3 months. We can certainly pick up donations in the in-between should your box(es) get too full.

  • Whereas a large corporation may opt to host a 1-2 week Hope Drive because they have lots of employees and customers each day.

Hope Drives can vary in donation requests. You can collect ALL items of greatest need, or tailor to one thing: food, household + hygiene products, water, diapers, toys/gifts, shoes, socks, clothing, etc.

Create Hope Totes

Hope Totes are used for our Street Outreach Program. They are given directly to people in need, with an invitation to join a vetted non-profit to receive their services.

You may either collect Hope Tote supplies on your own or with your group, or you can request supplies from Restore Hope for the Valley and then package the Hope Totes in zippy bags.

Fundraise

On Your Own or with a Group

You can create your own fundraising page very easily! Use this to promote on social media, send via email, or share in a blog/newsletter. You may consider creating a Fundraising Walk or Run in your community or nearby park. Encourage others to get involved!

Funds raised go directly into programs that help people in need with counseling, overcoming addiction and/or trauma, affordable housing, job training, healthcare, etc.
